Drivers should avoid Fayetteville Street near City Plaza this weekend

The City of Raleigh’s Transportation Department said Fayetteville St. from City Plaza to Davie St. will be closed as crews will be placing a crane to remove Verizon’s antennas on the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel’s roof.
