Durham councilman says city is following Raleigh, considering 'social districts'

Durham city councilman Leonardo Williams wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning that the city would be considering social districts — areas of downtown where alcoholic drinks in open containers are allowed — after Raleigh passed legislation allowing it on Tuesday night.
