Fayetteville police officer charged with fraud, fired from police department

Sgt. Brian Gerber was charged with 12 counts of fraud after being accused of falsifying time sheets at his security job. Police Chief Kemberle Braden said Brian Gerber’s alleged actions led to losses of more than $20,000.
