Former emergency services chief in Carteret County found to have mismanaged nearly $59,000 in funds

The former chief of Broad and Gales Creek Emergency Medical Services was found to have mismanaged funds close to $59,000 in 2021 and is now being investigated by the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.
