Man accused of killing Wake County deputy returned to US nearly two years after jail escape

Alder Marin-Sotelo and his older brother, Arturo Marin-Sotelo, were in jail and charged with the murder of Deputy Ned Byrd, who was killed in 2022 in a traffic stop involving the two men.
