Man hit, killed in Sanford while returning to hotel room from convenience store

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle while walking on a dark road in Sanford on Thursday night. Officials said the accident occurred on North Horner Blvd. near Sumpter Drive, just a short distance from the Days Inn, where the man was spending the night with his wife.
