Updated – 4:30 p.m. Thursday:Officials with Marine Corps Air Station New River just confirmed that a CH-53E helicopter was forced to make a precautionary emergency landing at approximately 2 p.m.The reason for the landing is unknown at this time and the incident is currently under investigation.
