Report: Inspection 4 days before deadly fire at Cary apartment complex showed electrical issues, stairs out of compliance

The most recent inspection at a Cary apartment complex was carried out four days before a fire that killed a 9-month-old baby and critically injured her mother. Reports showed inspectors found fire extinguishers that hadn’t been serviced recently, electrical issues and exit ramps and stairs out of compliance.
