Students return to Freedom Trail Elementary after Helene shuts down school for nearly 30 days

It’s been six weeks since Helene altered the landscape and lives of those in the mountains of North Carolina. Students are heading back to Freedom Trail Elementary after a long-awaited return to the classroom.
