Help could well be coming for veterans struggling with PTSD as the PAWS for Veterans Therapy Act is now a senate vote away from becoming reality.The bill, sponsored by Ohio Congressman Steve Stivers, will establish a pilot program at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) to “provide veterans coping with post-traumatic stress (PTS) work therapy by learning the art and science of training dogs for service,” according to a news release from Stivers’ office.
