All phone lines are down at the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.A Facebook post from the CCSO stated a fiber cut in Beaufort has been affecting all “East County Locations” since 11 a.m.The CCSO asked for patience during the time they are unable to receive calls and urged those with emergencies to call 911. Non-emergencies, according to the post, can be called in to 252-726-1911.
