Family says Durham officer shot 16-year-old in the back in Food Lion parking lot

Family members identify person shot by Durham officer as 16-year-old boy A Durham police officer shot an armed 16-year-old in the parking lot of Food Lion on Hope Valley Road early Sunday morning. Police were initially called there for reports of a “car club” racing in the area just after midnight.
