A Jacksonville woman died Thursday night after being hit by a car on Walton Road in Midway Park.N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper CJ Cross responded to the call around 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Walton Road and Daly Street. The driver of a Dodge Nitro, Kenyon Blango, 41, of Havelock, called emergency services after hitting Jessica Smith, 33, of Jacksonville on Walton Road.
