Nine-car crash shuts down I-87 near Wendell Falls Parkway Friday night

Multiple cars crashed Friday night along Interstate 87 near Wendell Falls Parkway in Knightdale as the Triangle saw its first snow accumulation in nearly three years. The State Highway Patrol closed down I-87 where the crash happened. Troopers were working to clear the damage and working to reopen the interstate.
