A $4.2 million project to expand and renovate Onslow County’s animal shelter has been approved.At Monday’s meeting, the Onslow County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a $3.8 million contract to Quadrant Construction, which will add approximately 6,700 square feet of space for animals in need.
