Storms expected Thursday; Northern NC counties at risk for severe weather

Northwestern North Carolina counties are under a Level 1 Risk for severe storms Thursday afternoon. Although over the past couple days, we haven’t had a severe weather threat in place and we have still seen some intense storms.
