Tax anxiety rises after Johnston Co. sends property reappraisal notices

Multiple residents wrote to WRAL and said several residents posted on social media that their property taxes were increasing by as much as 75%, but a Johnston County tax administrator wants to reassure residents the county is still deciding what the new rates will be.
