Abandoned colonial settlement, stop on Underground Railroad, falling apart in Snow Camp

An important piece of North Carolina colonial history and remnant from the Underground Railroad is decaying in Snow Camp.The remnants of a small colonial community, built roughly 270 years ago before the Revolutionary War, can be found crumbling and rusting on a country road and covered bridge in Alamance County.
