On Monday, officials in Carteret County announced they will be reopening all of the county’s maintained beach access points.A press release from the Carteret County Department of Human Services noted areas would include Salter Path, Radio Island, and Harkers Island access points.The release also stated while residents are enjoying the beach they should continue practicing social distancing as well as avoid mass gatherings to continue reducing the spread of COVID-19.
