Over 1,000 students within the Onslow County School system were displaced by Florence and considered homeless, according to OCS Chief Communications Officer Brent Anderson in an email to the Daily News.Today, only 74 students are identified as homeless.Most of the buildings and operations are back to same condition they were at before Florence except for a few heavily-damaged sites, Anderson said.
