Parents encouraged to keep tabs on kids’ online presence

Following the arrest of a Hunter’s Creek Middle School teacher accused of sending inappropriate photos and videos of herself to two of her 14-year-old students, Onslow County Schools staff is reminding parents to be aware of what their children are doing online.Most kids have access to phones or other internet devices, and Dr. Brendan Gartner, executive director of Human Resources and Student Services, advised parents to keep an eye out for signs that could raise concerns.
